Travelling for Work Purposes

How are the travel allowance rates determined?

Your Union undertakes extensive research and surveys of accommodation providers around the State to establish actual costs, which then form the basis for determining the allowance rates.  Your Union then negotiates with the Department of Commerce to reach agreement before registering the new rates in the WA Industrial Relations Commission.
